Sloepvrienden Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation, a percentage of the invoice amount will be charged. The percentage depends on how far in advance the confirmed boat trip is cancelled.
Cancellation – Amount Charged
- 8-4 weeks in advance: 25% of the invoice amount
- 4-2 weeks in advance: 50% of the invoice amount
- 2-1 weeks in advance: 75% of the invoice amount
- Less than 7 days in advance: 100% of the invoice amount
For cancellations made after final confirmation, the customer is required to pay an administration fee of €25 (excluding 21% VAT). Cancellations can only be made by telephone.
During major (boating) events, different cancellation terms may apply. These will always be clearly stated in your quotation or booking confirmation.
For open boats, both parties may cancel the booking in the event of an official Code Red weather warning. Cancellation on this basis is only possible on the day of the scheduled boat trip itself and not 1 or 2 days in advance based on the weather forecast.
In the event of rain, Sloepvrienden reserves the right to provide an alternative covered boat. Any additional costs will be covered by Sloepvrienden. This applies only when the alternative boat is owned by Sloepvrienden.
